Dr. Kaila Egan

Dr. Kaila Egan grew up in Waukon, Iowa and graduated high school in 2005.

After high school, she attended the University of Northern Iowa where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Dr. Egan then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and earned her doctorate of Optometry.

While in Memphis she enjoyed the BBQ, mild winters, and music on Beale Street.

During Optometry school she had the opportunity to go on two mission trips giving eye exams to those in need; one in Tela, Honduras and the other in Valladolid, Mexico.

During her fourth year, Kaila did a rotation in West Des Moines at Wolfe Eye Clinic and also in Northfield, Minnesota at River Valley Eye Professionals.
